Tiny Prints: Celebrity Designed Holiday Collection

Tiny Prints is always one of our favorite holiday card collections, and they are amping up their offerings for this holiday season. Just in time for the holidays, they have released their first ever Celebrity Holiday Card Collection.

The company has partnered with several popular celebrities to create exclusive designs that will be sold on behalf of a charity of their choice.

With designs from Samantha Harris, Elisabeth Rohm, Tiffani Thiessen, Melissa Joan Hart, and Dwayne Johnson, you can not only pick a design you like but have the opportunity to give back to a worthy cause.

Samantha Harris for Operation Smile
"Since having a baby, I realize more than ever the importance of a child being able to smile and laugh. My daughter's smile lights up my day,” said Harris. “Operation Smile gives children across the world who were born with facial disfigurements that ability."

Operation Smile is a worldwide children’s medical charity which provides free surgery to children with correctable facial deformities, such as cleft lips and cleft palates.

Contributing to the collection are:

Melissa Joan Hart for Friends of the Family

“After being part of many charities over the years, it is refreshing to see the amazing difference Friends of the Family actually makes in the local community. It helps improve the lives of both children and their families,” said Hart.

Friends of the Family strives to foster strong families, resilient and joyful children and vibrant communities in Southern California by providing respectful and responsive family support services in the greater Los Angeles area.

Elisabeth Rohm for Global Green
Actress and new mom Elisabeth Rohm has been a long-time champion of environmental awareness. The sale of Rohm’s recycled cards, which are only available on recycled paper made of 30% post-consumer waste and 50% recycled paper, will benefit Global Green USA.

Global Green is a national leader in combating global warming by helping to create smart climate change solutions, including creating landmark climate legislation, educating the public and building green homes, schools and communities.

Tiffani Thiessen for Camp Rainbow Gold
“Camp Rainbow Gold has shown me the true meaning of giving. The kids who attend this camp are so full of strength and hope that they have taught me life lessons that I will hold onto forever,” said Thiessen.

Camp Rainbow Gold offers year-round programs for children who have been diagnosed with cancer. The organization provides them with medically supervised camps, college scholarships and other emotionally empowering experiences, in addition to offering services to their families and support networks.

Dwayne Johnson to benefit The Rock Foundation
"I believe in the potential of children, and the importance of creating a positive, nurturing and secure environment for which they can learn and grow,” said Johnson. “Tiny Prints' commitment to community outreach, especially towards our youth, naturally compliments my mission. I'm honored to have my foundation selected as a beneficiary."

The Rock Foundation seeks to educate, empower and enrich the lives of children worldwide through global education, youth physical fitness and obesity prevention programs.

Kids Central Kitchen: Kid Friendly Baking

Cooking with your kids is good old-fashioned, messy fun.

While most of the time, I take the time to bake from scratch with the boys letting them measure and mix to their hearts content sometimes we just have to pull out a mix to make things easier. Kids Central Kitchen has created a collection of kids friendly baking mixes with whole grains, no trans fats, no hydrogenated oils, no high fructose corn syrup and no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives. Even with all the good stuff, they have been kid-tested to ensure that they still taste great!

They have a whole variety of mixes to choose from including chocolate chip cookies, brownies and pancakes. Our household favorite is definitely the Swinging Monkey Banana Bread!

Robeez Launches Season of Giving Campaign

Robeez has launched its fourth annual Season of Giving campaign which donates shoes to infants in need during the holiday season. The company has set of a goal of sending $250,000 worth of shoes to children in need in partnership with K.I.D.S. (Kids in Distressed Situations.)

For every e-card sent from their Season of Giving website, Robeez will make a $5 product donation to kids in need. They are even including a special bonus for senders -- just for taking the time to send an e-card you will be entered into a weekly drawing of one of the Robeez Shoes and Socks Gift Sets.

Winter Must Have: JJ Cole Infant Urban Bundleme Bunting

This week arrived with a chill in their air and the first snow of the season. My mind instantly turned to winter coats, sweaters, and warm snuggling clothing. Living in Minnesota it is always a challenge to keep babies warm during that brisk walk from home to car, car to store, store to store, and anywhere else need to go.

I love quilted Infant Urban Bundleme Bunting by JJ Cole. Perfect for bundling up your urban baby! The Urban Bundle Me cuddles up your infant in warmth and shelters them from winters elements. The high-quality, water-resistant quilted fabric eliminates the need for bulky jackets or blankets.

It has been designed to work with 3 and 5-point harness systems easing the transition between car seats, strollers and jogging strollers while offering the maximum safety.

When it gets dirty as it inevitably will -- just toss it in the washing machine for cleaning.

Julianne Moore and Burt's Bees Vote Natural

She may be a vision when she walks the red carpet, but actress Julianne Moore is on a mission to promote natural beauty. The actress has partnered up with skincare line Burt’s Bees, whose alliance with the Natural Products Association has helped develop a Natural Seal bestowed on products that are at least 95% natural, to promote their "Vote Natural" Campaign.

The “Vote Natural” campaign allows consumers to voice their support for skincare products that are free of potentially toxic synthetics.

“When I had my first child, I became far more aware of the importance of the products we use in and on our bodies, in our homes, and more broadly, that affect our footprint on the environment,” she says. “It’s important to me to raise my children in a healthy environment, while preserving our environment.”

Find out more about the promotion and download a free wallet card with a list of six ingredients to check the label for when you are out shopping at votefornatural.com.
